OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One person is dead after they were struck by a vehicle at an Oshkosh intersection.
The Oshkosh Police Department says the incident occurred at the intersection of N. Main Street and High Avenue at approximately 4:12 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say a pedestrian was struck by a commercial vehicle in the intersection, and was transported to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
The victim later died from their injuries.
The identity of the victim and of the driver involved were not immediately released.
The accident remains under investigation.
Oshkosh police have closed the intersection as the investigation continues.
