MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A person’s body was found in Manitowoc Sunday evening.
Police say they were called to the shore of the Manitowoc River near S. 16th Street around 5:30 p.m. Working with the fire department, crews pulled a male body from the river.
Police say their preliminary investigation has found no signs of foul play or threat to the community.
An autopsy is being conducted.
