OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — UW-Oshkosh leaders are rolling out a new three-year strategic plan they say is designed to help the university adapt to shifting demographics and technology.
The university has unveiled the plan, called “Oshkosh Infinite,” to the campus community. The plan was first introduced in 2025 as a major push to respond to changing demographics and technologies. On Tuesday, the school guided attendees through its primary goals, which include fostering an inclusive student experience and working to position UW-Oshkosh as a first-choice destination.
Chancellor Manohar Singh said the next phase will focus on gathering feedback and tracking results.
“It also gives us a measurable outcome that we can say ‘this thing is working, this is not working,’” Singh said. “So not only this is showcasing our success, but also looking and reflecting at the gaps we still need to figure out. So it’s the feedback we are looking for.”
The university’s previous strategic plan was created under former Chancellor Andrew Leavitt, before the university eliminated its $18 million deficit. Singh, who preceded Leavitt as chancellor, said his own plan emphasized nontraditional students as a theme.
