(GREEN BAY ATHLETICS) – Tuesday afternoon, the Horizon League announced the 2026 Under Armour #HLVB Preseason Poll. Green Bay was selected by the league’s coaches to finish fifth. Green Bay finished with 73 points. Wright State, Northern Kentucky, IU Indy, and Milwaukee were picked in the top four, in that order.

Green Bay has made Horizon League Championship game appearances in two out of the last three seasons. The Phoenix finished 10-8 in the Horizon League last year, sixth in the standings.
If the Phoenix finish top eight in the HL standings, they will secure a spot in the Horizon League Championships from Nov. 19-22. The event will be hosted by the highest seed heading into the postseason.
Green Bay kicks off the regular season next weekend at the Western Michigan Volleyball Tournament. The Phoenix will take on Western Michigan on Friday, August 28 at 5 p.m., followed by Indiana State on Aug.29 and Navy on Aug. 30.
