BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An elderly man was rescued on Monday after his sailboat capsized in the Bay of Green Bay.
According to the Suamico Fire Department, crews were notified that a sailboat had capsized in roughly 15 feet of water.
The 81-year-old held onto the hull while he called emergency services.

The Suamico Fire Department did not disclose if the man had any injuries from the incident.
It also issued a reminder that all boaters should be wearing a properly-fitted life jacket whenever they are out on the water.
