(GREEN BAY PACKERS) – Green Bay Packers fans are invited to bring the spirit of the Packers to two games on the road this season with Packers Everywhere Pep Rallies, presented by Thrivent, set for Tampa and New Orleans.
The pep rallies welcome fans to join their fellow supporters and share their excitement the day before each road game in the selected cities. Packers Everywhere emcee Rebecca Zaccard will greet fans and offer interactive Packers-themed contests and games. Fans can enjoy photo opportunities, caricature artists and music and entertainment provided by a local DJ. The rallies will also feature appearances by Packers alumni and other Packers personalities to provide their thoughts on the next day’s game.
In Tampa, rally festivities will begin at 3 p.m. local time and the program featuring alumni will begin at 5 p.m. In New Orleans, rally festivities will begin at 4 p.m. local time and the program featuring alumni will begin at 6 p.m. Fans should note that entry to the rallies is available on a first-come, first-served basis as the events are free and open to the public. As capacity will vary from location to location, fans are encouraged to arrive at each venue early to ensure they can take part in the fun.
- In Tampa, the event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Whiskey Joe’s (Tampa), located at 7720 W. Courtney Campbell Causeway. Currently scheduled to appear are Packers alumni Nick Collins, Sam Shields and Ryan Longwell.
- In New Orleans, the event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 5, at Prohibition located at 333 Bourbon St., New Orleans. Currently scheduled to appear are Packers alumni Josh Sitton, Matt Flynn and Tramon Williams.
More information about each rally, including how to pre-register to be part of the fun, will be announced as the dates approach. Appearances by Packers staff and alumni, as well as other event details, are subject to change.
