GBAPS school board discusses possible fall referendum

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — In November, Green Bay residents could be asked to vote on a referendum.

The Green Bay Area Public School District school board has discussed the wording of the potential operational referendum.

As it stands, the district plans to ask for $154 million over four years.

However, the board may look at asking for additional funding to account for future inflation.

The current $16.5 million operation referendum, which was approved in November 2022, expires at the end of the current academic year.
