GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Those in Brown County or the Oneida Nation who were impacted by flooding in April can learn more about federal assistance available by going to a Disaster Recovery Center.
The center will be housed at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College Public Safety Training Center Room GBP111/113, 2565 Larsen Rd., Green Bay. It is scheduled to open on Monday and close on Aug. 14. Hours are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, with 3 p.m. closures on July 23 and 29.
At the center, people can learn about Federal Emergency Management Agency funding that can help with money for basic home repairs, personal property losses and other uninsured disaster-related needs such as childcare, transportation, medical needs, funeral or dental expenses.
Applying for FEMA aid can be done online, on the FEMA smartphone app or by calling 1-800-621-3362.
A similar center will be opening Monday in New London for flood victims in Outagamie, Waupaca and Winnebago counties
