KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at a gas station in Kaukauna, the Wisconsin Lottery announced Tuesday.
The winning ticket from Monday’s drawing was purchased at the Kwik Trip located at 322 Lawe Street. It matched four of the five numbers (17-32-48-60-64) and the Powerball (10).
“Monday’s win continues a good run of big winners coming from the Kaukauna Kwik Trip. In recent years, the store has sold winning scratch tickets of $500,000 and $200,000 and winning Lotto tickets of $204,000, $50,000, and $27,000,” lottery officials said in a news release.
Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings.
Powerball drawings are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included in a drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play, with the option to buy the Power Play feature for an additional $1.
The estimated Powerball jackpot for the Wednesday drawing is $154 million. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338. The odds of winning a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1 in 913,130.
