GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Brown County officials are issuing a second public health warning, saying rising cases are putting a burden on local hospitals.
The county has a burden rate of 1,212.7 per 100,000 people and a Growing case trajectory of 22%.
More than 83% of hospital beds in Northeast Wisconsin are occupied. Just under 85% of ICU capacity is occupied.
The situation is worse in the Fox Valley, with more than 86% of hospital beds in use and 81% of ICU beds.
All but two of Wisconsin’s counties have “very high” virus activity levels.
