GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Packers are aiming to connect fans with local nonprofits throughout this year’s training camp.
It’s part of a community outreach initiative called “Nonprofit of the Day” that encourages Packers fans in attendance at training camp to interact with area organizations. The program is now in its third year.
20 nonprofits were chosen to participate in the 2025 training camp. Each one will share information about their nonprofit and the services they provide to the community, and provide opportunities for fans to give back. Additionally, the nonprofits will offer activities guests can engage in.
The full schedule is below:
- Wednesday, July 23: Aspiro and myTEAM TRIUMPH
- Thursday, July 24: The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay and St. Vincent de Paul Green Bay
- Friday, July 25: Foundations Health & Wholeness and Girls Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes
- Monday, July 28: Volunteer Center of Brown County and Foster the Village Inc.
- Wednesday, July 30: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin and The Gathering Place
- Thursday, July 31: Friends of Pals, Youth and Families and Brown County Youth Action Board
- Wednesday, Aug. 6: H.O.O.A.H. WI and Heritage Hill State Historical Park
- Thursday, Aug. 7: Altrusa Hospitality House and GRIT 920
- Tuesday, Aug. 19: American Red Cross
- Thursday, Aug. 21: CASA of Brown County, Golden House Inc. and Center for Suicide Awareness
Packers alumni will be making surprise visits to several of the nonprofit set-ups throughout training camp.
The organizations will be located in the parking lot to the east of Ray Nitschke Field between gates 1 and 2. Fans can interact with the organizations beginning 90 minutes before practice starts.
Tuesday, Aug. 5 and Tuesday, Aug. 12 will serve as rain make-up days.
