MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship is making Manitowoc its home for year 26.
More than 330 players will compete for fours days across 19 divisions ranging from Junior 10 to Pro 65 and to the best players in the world in the Open Division.
The tournament starts today and ends Sunday, June 22.
Jackie Morris is the PDGA Marshall; she says spectators should follow the same general rules as regular golf.
“Staying quiet while people are on the tee, staying behind and making sure you’re not walking in fairways,” said Morris. “If you do come check it out, you’re going to see some really neat things; cool shots, comradery, all of it.”
Competition takes place at Silver Creek Park, Lower Cato Falls Park and Rollin Ridge Disc Golf Course.
Tickets can be purchased on-site or online for $15 per day.
