WAUPACA COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One man was killed in a house fire in Royalton Monday, according to Weyauwega Fire Chief Tom Cullen.
Crews were called to the home on Waukaunaka Street at about 2:30 p.m. Monday. One woman escaped the home. One man was removed from the home by firefighters, wasn’t breathing at the time, and died.
The cause is still under investigation, Chief Cullen said.
