NE WISCONSIN, (WTAQ-WLUK) – All of the candidates in the gubernatorial and Senate races were busy on the campaign trail Monday.
They made their final appeals to supporters, asking for their votes.

This comes as the Marquette University Law School Poll shows both races as toss-ups among likely voters.
The poll shows a 48% to 48% tie between Democratic Gov. Tony Evers and Republican challenger Tim Michels.
On the Senate side, the poll shows incumbent Republican Sen. Ron Johnson with a 50% to 48% advantage over the challenger, Democratic Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes.
On his trip across the state, Barnes made a stop in Allouez.
“Ron Johnson stood against us. He didn’t stand up for our workers, he didn’t stand up for our state, or our jobs… If Ron Johnson wants to raise the retirement age to 70 years old, we can lower the retirement age for Ron Johnson tomorrow.”
Johnson stopped in Stevens Point.
“I mean, he’s held elective office, but other than run up a $600,000 tab having the state patrol chauffeur him around, I’m not sure what else he’s really accomplished.”
Despite the tightness of the race, both candidates say they feel good.
“We are going to win based on our values and our vision just like we did four years ago,” said Barnes.
“I have a lifetime experience raising a family, building a business, creating good paying manufacturing jobs,” said Johnson.
It is the same story for the governor’s race between Evers and Michels.
Michels headed up to De Pere.
“We are going to beat Tony Evers. We are going to get a conservative governor in the governor’s office, and we are going to take Wisconsin to new heights.”
Evers campaigned in Milwaukee.
“I have an opponent that, frankly, when he’s here in Wisconsin, I’m not quite sure what he does. He’s tied at the hip to Donald Trump.”
One message both candidates can agree on is getting out and casting your vote.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. You can find information about your polling location on MyVote.Wisc.gov.
