LEDGEVIEW, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Ledgeview bar and grill devastated by a fire last month is rising above the ashes.
While plans are in the works to rebuild Chicago Street Pub & Grill, the restaurant announced Tuesday it would open a “junior” location at 875 Heritage Road on Tuesday, July 20.
It would share space with the Swan Club and Island Sushi Bar & Grill.
The reopening comes less than a month after the June 25th fire destroyed the restaurant and New Hope United Methodist Church, which shared the building at 1950 Dickinson Road.
Officials say the fire appeared to have started in the church part of the building however the cause is undetermined because of the extent of the damage.
According to an online fundraiser, the owner of the Chicago Street Pub plans to rebuild in its former parking lot.
