OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Morgan Geyser, who was convicted in the Slenderman stabbing case, obtained a restraining order Wednesday against a “true crime collector.”
Jeffrey Pagel did not appear for the hearing Wednesday, so Judge Scott Woldt granted the restraining order for a period of four years.
The county will serve Pagel with a copy of the order, the judge said.
Geyser appeared for the hearing by video from the Winnebago Mental Health Institute.
Pagel sold memorabilia from her case and has contacted her, and she wanted that contact to end.
In 2014, Geyser and Anissa Weier stabbed their classmate nearly to death to appease fictional character, Slender Man. Both were convicted but found not guilty by reason of mental disease, and were committed to psychiatric facilities.
Geyser returns to court Nov. 23 in Waukesha County on a petition for release.
