WAUPACA COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A pedestrian was airlifted to the hospital Friday evening after getting struck by an SUV on a roadway in Waupaca County.
Police say the pedestrian was walking near Ferry Street around 5 p.m. when struck by an SUV traveling eastbound on State Highway 54.
The victim, a 13-year-old female, was transported to Thedacare Neenah by Thedastar Med Evac Helicopter for treatment. The name of the victim is being withheld at this time.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
