APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A school bus driver pleaded not guilty Wednesday to child pornography possession charges.
Josh Fetzer, 43, faces 10 counts of child porn possession. No trial date was set. He returns to court July 20 for a status conference.
In asking for a reduction of the $20,000 cash bond, defense attorney Kevin Musolf said Fetzer expected to be fired from the bus driver position, and noted there are no sexual assault allegations.
But Judge Yadira Rein denied the motion, and kept the bond the same.
The investigation into Fetzer began after the Appleton Police Department received online tips through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to a news release. During the course of the investigation, authorities discovered evidence that led to Fetzer’s arrest.
APD said investigators learned Fetzer worked as a school bus driver, “though no cases have been identified involving his employment.”
