MARINETTE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A motorist was killed Saturday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Marinette County.
Saturday, shortly before 1 p.m., Marinette County Dispatch responded to a crash on County Highway Z, near For Farm Drive in the Town of Beecher.
Upon arrival to the scene, officers determined that a motorist, operating a Harley Davidson Trike, was traveling east when he failed to negotiate a curve, went into a ditch, and struck a tree.
An investigation indicates that the motorist, Gary I. Yaggie, 74, of Dunbar, was not wearing a helmet when the incident occurred, sustaining fatal injuries.
