Green Bay signed former Vanderbilt cornerback Marlon Jones on Monday. Jones recorded nine total tackles in his one season with the Commodores.

Sherm Lewis passes away: When former Packers coach Mike Holmgren hired Sherman Lewis to be offensive coordinator and Ray Rhodes to handle the defense, it was the first time any NFL team had two black coordinators.
That was 34 years ago.
Lewis died in Detroit at the age of 83.
He ran the Green Bay offense from 1992 to 1999, though he never called the plays.
