GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Four people have been injured in two separate crashes on STH 54/57 on Monday morning.
A total of five vehicles were involved in the incidents.
According to the Green Bay Police Department, units were dispatched to a three-vehicle crash around 10:45 a.m. on Sturgeon Bay Road northbound, near North Huron Road and Bay Settlement Road.
Two people in one vehicle, a 95-year-old Oconto Falls man and a 77-year-old Oconto Falls woman suffered injuries.
The woman’s injuries are believed to be potentially life-threatening.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 61-year-old woman from Luxemburg, also sustained non-life threatening injuries from the crash.
And the driver of the third vehicle had no reported injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
While GBPD officers were on the scene of the first incident, officers were dispatched to an additional crash in the same area of Sturgeon Bay Road in the southbound lanes.
A 16-year-old driver from Luxemburg suffered non-life threatening injuries from the crash, while the driver of the second vehicle did not report any injuries.
Green Bay Police say the initial cause of the crash is believed to be inattentive driving.
Sturgeon Bay Road was completely reopened around 2:35 p.m. Monday afternoon.
