(LEARFIELD) – A four-star quarterback prospect has committed to play football for the Badgers.
Jack Sorgi made an early commitment to Louisville but switched to Wisconsin last week.
Sorgi is the son of former UW starting quarterback Jim Sorgi.
He’s ranked 20th nationwide in the recruiting class of 2027. He has been on-campus twice and has an official visit scheduled for next month in Madison.
That Badgers’ recruiting class now includes nine commits.
Date Set For Wisconsin-Marquette Game: When Wisconsin and Marquette meet on the basketball court in the Fiserv Forum next season, it will be the 132nd game between the two programs.
The date has been announced as December 5th.
The Badgers won the most recent meeting 96-76 last December.
They have taken four of the last five in-state rivalry games.
