TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Two people are facing charges for allegedly stealing from a garage in Two Rivers, police announced Wednesday.
According to a news release, the thefts happened around 6:30 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of Turner Street, when officers were dispatched for a burglary complaint regarding two individuals stealing items from the garage.
The suspects were detained in Brown County and turned over to the custody of the Two Rivers Police Department.
The majority of the stolen property was located in the suspects’ vehicles, seized as evidence, processed, and returned to the victim.
A 43-year-old woman and 51-year-old man, both from Two Rivers, were taken to the Manitowoc County Jail on burglary and theft charges. The woman also faces two counts of felony bail jumping, while the man faces two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
