(WTAQ-WLUK) — Ascension has begun restoring patients’ records following a cyberattack.
The company said in an update this week that electronic health record access has been restored in one market. The health system says it is working on a plan to restore access across the network on a rolling basis.
The attack was first noticed on May 8.
Ascension facilities include St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, Ascension Calumet Hospital in Chilton and Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh.
