STURGEON BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — You have a chance to win a fully decorated Christmas tree and enjoy a trip to a museum at the same time.
The Merry-Time Festival of Trees is taking place at the Door County Maritime Museum.
Local businesses have donated trees, wreathes and tabletop displays as part of a fundraiser for the museum.
The $15 museum admission includes a raffle ticket to win a tree. You can also buy additional raffle tickets for better odds.
“It’s a wonderful way to see what the museum has to offer, with our history for Door County and the peninsula, shipbuilding,” said Lisa Anderson of the Door County Maritime Museum. “And also, you get a chance to visit our tower, which is now completed, has eight floors of exhibit space, as well as our 10th floor enclosed observation deck.”
Winners will be drawn on December 12, but the trees will be on display until December 31.
