GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) โ The countdown to the first NFL Draft to be held in Green Bay began Monday with the release of the draft dates.
As Green Bay gears up to host the 2025 NFL Draft, officials held a ceremony at Lambeau Field to announce the three-day event will take place April 24-26, 2025.
Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy and Director of Public Affairs Aaron Popkey spoke during the event, along with Alex Brooke, who serves as an NFL Senior Director for Events Business Strategy.
Community leaders, donors and partners from around the area were in attendance for the ceremony.
While details of the 2025 NFL Draft are still being finalized, the main portion of the event is expected to take place on the Lambeau Field and Titletown campus, with a variety of venues to be utilized within close proximity.
Other festivities include the NFL Draft Experience โ a massive free football festival โ near Lambeau Field to allow fans of all teams to participate and test their football skills, enjoy interactive exhibits and autograph sessions, and take pictures with the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
The 2025 NFL Draft is expected to bring a $94 million economic impact statewide, with $20 million of that in Green Bay.
The 2023 Draft in Kansas City in April welcomed more than 312,000 fans and had more than 54 million viewers over the course of the three-day event.
