MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A task force Gov. Tony Evers set up to address the impact of artificial intelligence on Wisconsin’s workforce includes representation from our area.
Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach and NEW Manufacturing Alliance executive director Ann Franz are among the 30 members Evers announced Thursday.
The task force members include state and national representatives from the public and private sectors.
The task force’s first meeting is Monday afternoon in Madison.
Around the time Evers issued the executive order creating the task force, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos announced an AI task force in the Legislature. The chair, State Rep. Nate Gustafson, R-Fox Crossing, said in August that he expected the two task forces would do some collaboration.
