GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Paul’s Pantry in Green Bay is mourning the loss of its longtime manager.
Angie Allard passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday. She was 80 years old.
On its website, the pantry says Allard began volunteering at Paul’s Pantry in 1985 before being hired by Leo Frigo as the first employee at the pantry. She would go on to oversee all aspects of the pantry operation, including the daily food distribution and volunteers.
Over her more than three decades of service to the community, Angie touched countless lives. Her tireless dedication and commitment to serving the poor is an inspiration to all of us. Angie’s deep faith in God and unwavering devotion set an example for everyone she encountered at the pantry. Please join us in praying for Angie’s soul, for her family, for Paul’s Pantry and for everyone whose life was impacted by this amazing woman.
Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced as soon as the information is available.
