GREENVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Appleton International Airport is continuing to see increased business — both with its commercial and corporate flights.
To meet demand, the airport is building a $7.2 million hangar, funded by the 2022 CARES Act. The new hangar will be at its Appleton Flight Center, which handles maintenance, fuel and storage for general aviation.
The center’s two current hangars, located just south of the commercial airport, are both full, according to the airport.
The Appleton airport says the new hangar will be particularly important for the increased traffic from EAA and the 2025 NFL Draft.
