GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A motion to dismiss sexual assault charges against Taylor Schabusiness will be unsealed, but two photos attached to the motion will remain sealed, a judge decided Wednesday morning.
A lab report which is also part of the motion will be unsealed, as well.
Last week, the murder and dismemberment suspect’s attorney requested that the charge, and the overall criminal complaint, be dismissed.
Schabusiness is charged with the murder, dismemberment, and sexual assault of Shad Thyrion last year.
Her trial is scheduled to take place in July.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called to a residence on Stony Brook Lane early in the morning of Feb. 23, 2022. There, police found a severed head inside a bucket in the basement.
Schabusiness said she and Shad Thyrion were using drugs, including meth, and engaging in sexual play, when Thyrion was strangled. Schabusiness then sexually abused him, dismembered the body and placed body parts in various locations in the home and a vehicle, the criminal complaint states.
“Schabusiness made the comment that at one point, she did get paranoid and lazy and that she thought it was the ‘dope’ that was making her paranoid,” the complaint states.
