GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Green Bay is gearing up for summer fun.
Downtown Green Bay Inc. and On Broadway Inc. launched their summer event season in Leicht Park Wednesday.
It features hundreds of downtown events this summer, including live music and farmer’s markets.

As it celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, the Farmer’s Market On Broadway will host hundreds of vendors and musicians. There are even plans to expand on their kids’ market during the Farmer’s Market to educate children on food and agriculture and host after-hours concerts.
There’s more new things to look forward to this summer:
Those attending the Wednesday Farmer’s Market can try Titletown Brewery’s new Mexican lager brewed special for the 20th anniversary.
A free Sunday concert series at Leicht Park
A Venetian boat parade during an igNight Market
A Latin music stage added during downtown’s Fire Over the Fox event on July 4.
“We’ve got events of course that occur all year-round but we take special advantage of course of the summer here in the northern climates, so just excited to be able to announce some of those attractions and welcome people down to downtown Green Bay,” mayor Eric Genrich said.
