FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Homicide and other charges were filed Tuesday against the two teenage suspects in the murder of Tatyanna Zech, but the criminal complaints were sealed, so no additional details about the events leading up to the Sunday night shooting were released.
Both suspects — Parise Larry, 14, and Antonio Johnston, 17 — are wanted by police and have not been taken into custody. In Wisconsin, those ages 10 and older charged with most homicide counts are charged in adult court. All 17-year-olds are charged in adult court.
Police are working with prosecutors to obtain nationwide arrest warrants for the two teenagers.
Meanwhile, Fond du Lac police said Tuesday the other two shooting victims were inside their apartments when they were hit by stray bullets.
The shooting took place in a parking lot outside the Maplewood Commons apartment complex on the city’s south side.
A 49-year-old man was sleeping upstairs inside his apartment when he was hit and critically wounded. His 18-year-old son was inside the apartment downstairs when a stray bullet grazed his leg. Neither were part of the murder incident, police said.
Both men were hospitalized, where their conditions were upgraded Tuesday. The condition was described as stable.
Johnston faces eight counts, including first-degree intentional homicide and attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
Larry faces 10 counts, including being party to first-degree intentional homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide and four counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety.
