GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The fight to STINGCANCER continues in Northeast Wisconsin.
STINGCANCER is a collaboration of students, faculty and staff, from area schools dedicated to reducing the effects of cancer by initiating and supporting programs and activities for the school and its surrounding community.
Founder of STINGCANCER, Nick Nesvacil, says that Friday, May 5 will be the 19th year of Wear Yellow Day. This is a day to acknowledge the ongoing fight against cancer.
“A lot of people we ask to wear yellow. Anything yellow they have. Caps, shirts, sweatshirts, whatever you have,” said Nesvacil.
Wearing yellow is a way to show that nobody fights alone.
