MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — State Assembly Speaker Robin Vos is taking a deliberative approach to talk of a flat tax in Wisconsin.
He says that the flat tax may not be the premier to adopt tax reform, but it hasn’t been ruled out either.
“I want to have a package that can actually become law. So, certainly happy to look at it. Perhaps there’s a way we can more flatten it as opposed to just having a flat tax in one fell swoop. But it’s certainly part of our conversation but nowhere near conclusion.” said Vos.
State Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu testified on his flat tax bill Tuesday at the Capitol.
