OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The application process to fill the vacancy on Oshkosh City Council is underway.
The vacant seat is a result of Council Member Matt Mugerauer being elected mayor. The appointment would run through April 2024.
Interested residents should submit a completed Council Candidate Questionnaire to the City Clerk. Questionnaires may be found online and completed no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023. The Common Council will review the completed Questionnaires and any other information submitted by applicants.
Applicants will be asked to make a five-minute presentation at the Tuesday, April 25, 2023, meeting of the Oshkosh Common Council. The Council will make an appointment at the regular Council meeting on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
