WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Winnebago County supervisor has passed away.
On Wednesday, Oshkosh police conducted a welfare check on Supervisor Mike Norton at his residence.
Norton’s death is not considered suspicious.
Norton had served on the board since 2000, the second-longest service of an active board member.
He also represented Winnebago County on Wisconsin Counties Association and National Association of Counties, particularly advocating for human services and public health issues.
