GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A 52-year-old Green Bay man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing at the Islamic Society of Wisconsin Wednesday afternoon.
The Green Bay Police Department says officers were dispatched to Velp Avenue for a weapon call just before 3:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim and suspect, a 22-year-old Green Bay man. They arrested the suspect on the scene.
Police say they do not believe this was a random incident. The two men are reported to know each other.
This investigation is ongoing.
