GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Green Bay Botanical Garden is getting ready for the WPS Garden of Lights. The event kicks off on November 25, and will feature 37 botanically-themed light displays with more than 325,000 twinkling lights.
Crews at the Botanical Gardens have been working on setting up displays since early October, and are about 50% of the way completed.
Part of the exhibit includes a Glowing Daisy necklace that is available for purchase. The necklace interacts with about eight other displays.
“Create a memory. That’s what we’re about here.” said Botanical Gardens Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator, Dave Barkow. “It’s not really about the lights, it’s about creating memories for people.”
