GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich is running for a second term.
Genrich, on Twitter, said Wednesday that he’s running because he considers himself “a part of a project to make [Green Bay] a place for everyone.”

Genrich, a former Democratic state lawmaker, was first elected to the non-partisan role in 2019.
Genrich’s predecessor, Jim Schmitt, has also floated the possibility of running again.
The 2023 election is set for April 4. A primary, if necessary, would be held on Feb. 21.
