APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Appleton police released a series of surveillance images its investigation into a number of thefts from vehicles.
On June 2, police responded to the southside of Appleton in the early morning hours for multiple reports of items stolen from vehicles.
Investigators learned that numerous unlocked vehicles were entered and considerable items were stolen, including two firearms.
Investigating officers have identified several victims in the neighborhoods in the area of S. Oneida Street and James Madison Middle School.
After completing interviews with neighbors and gathering video footage from all known cameras, police have released surveillance images to the public.
Officers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals in the photos.




In addition to the thefts in Appleton, investigators determined that additional thefts occurred in the Greenville area and are believed to be the same suspects from the incidents in Appleton. We would like to thank Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office for the assistance as we continue to work on this case.
