GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Neville Public Museum opened a new exhibit on Tuesday focusing on the women’s experience.
It’s called “HerStory.”
Using artifacts, artwork and stories from local women, it shows the changing roles and experiences of women in work, politics and their community in Northeast Wisconsin.
The exhibit spans the changes from 1900 to now.
“The idea for this exhibit has been a few years in the making, just looking at, as we kept doing exhibits here, we kept realizing, ‘wow, there’s a lot of really great women featured in our collection, also through Green Bay history, that we’d really like to highlight them in our own way,’” said James Peth, Neville Public Museum curator.
“HerStory” will be on display at the Neville until November 6th.
