GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — With the Super Bowl around the corner and March Madness just weeks away, it’s a good time for sports fans.
It can be a very stressful time, however, for those with gambling problems, who may find the call of sports betting hard to resist.
“We normally see in January, February, March, an increase in calls and hearing about people with gambling issues” says Rose Blozinski with the Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling. “If we’re going to have a record breaking month, traditionally it’s going to be February or March.”
