BLACK CREEK, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A tornado that touched down near Black Creek Tuesday was rated EF-1 by the National Weather Service.
That means that the tornado’s maximum wind speeds of 86-90 mph. The Enhanced Fujita scale rates tornadoes between EF-0 and EF-5, with EF-0 reserved for three second gusts of 65-85 mph, and EF-5 reserved for tornadoes that produce wind in excess of 200 mph.
There were no injuries. Anyone with damage is asked to report it to Outagamie County officials.
The tornado was on the ground in Outagamie County between Nichols and Black Creek around 6:15 p.m.
