DODGE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A third person has died in head-on crash in Dodge County over the weekend.
Police say the crash happened Saturday just after 2 p.m. on US 151 in Beaver Dam.
A Kia, driven by Richard Wagner, 68, of Saint Joseph, IL, was traveling south in the left inside traffic lane when he was hit by a wrong-way driver in a Mazda traveling north.
The driver of the Mazda, Frederick Schultz, 87, of Columbus, WI, died at the scene.
A passenger in the Kia, Melissa Rees, 53, of Terre Haute, IN, died while being transported to the hospital.
Wagner was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and died a short time later.
The crash remains under investigation.
