MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WTAQ) — Three people now have been arrested for a late April homicide in Neenah.
Terran Colwell, 28, was arrested on May 7th after leading US Marshals on a high-speed car chase then fleeing on foot.
51-year-old Charles W. Hoofman, a member of the Hells Lovers Motorcycle Club, was also arrested Monday after a search warrant was conducted. Police are recommending a charge of Party to Crime 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, and the District Attorney is in the process of reviewing the charges.
Neenah Police say Colwell and Mandel Roy stabbed 22-year-old Rodger Ridgeway to death outside of a motorcycle club.
“The evidence obtained by Neenah Police Department investigators shows that Mandel Roy began fighting with (Ridgeway), committing at least a battery, using a blunt weapon. Terran Colwell also became involved in the fight, likely stabbing (Ridgeway) with a knife, causing injuries that resulted in (Ridgeway)’s death. Roy and Colwell continued to fight with (Ridgeway) even after his apparent attempts to get away,” the criminal complaint states.
Colwell was arrested on a warrant citing homicide-negligent manslaughter with a weapon. Roy, 26, also faces a felony murder count in the case.
Ridgeway suffered five stab wounds, another incision, and multiple bruises. Stab wounds to the chest were fatal, the complaint states.
