MADISON, WI (WTAQ) — Prevea CEO Dr. Ashok Rai has been appointed to the board that overseas the UW-System.
Governor Tony Evers appointed Rai to the Board of Regents in a Friday announcement.
Rai has served before on the UW-Green Bay Council of Trustees.
He holds an undergrad degree from UW-Milwaukee and attended the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Rai replaces Eve Hall, whose term expires May 1.
Rai was appointed alongside student regent Brianna Tucker and John Miller , who was reappointed.
