OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-boat crash on Lake Butte des Morts Saturday just after 9 p.m.
A 26-foot boat with six people aboard was traveling slowly toward Rainbow Park when it was hit by 17-foot boat heading in the same direction that boat had two people on board.
All eight people were transported to shore.
Operators of both boats were arrested for operating while intoxicated.
Three people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
